Your household data never leaves your device. No accounts. No tracking. No data sold.
We believe your household's food habits, routines, and preferences are personal. This policy explains exactly what we do - and do not do - with your information.
This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles information relating to you and your household. We have designed this app with privacy as a core principle, not an afterthought.
The short version: your household data never leaves your device. We do not collect it, we do not store it, and we do not sell it.
All data you create within the app - including your meal library, household preferences, use-soon items, dinner history, and planning context - is stored exclusively on your device using local storage.
We have no server-side database of your household meals or preferences. We cannot access your data remotely. There is no sync to our systems, no cloud backup managed by us, and no account login that exposes your data to us.
If you uninstall the app, all locally stored data is permanently deleted. We cannot recover it. Use your device's own backup features (such as iCloud or Google One) if you want to retain a backup.
We do not collect any of the following: your name, email address, location, device identifier, IP address, household composition, dietary information, meal preferences, or any behavioural usage data from within the core app.
We do not use advertising SDKs. We do not run behavioural analytics on your in-app actions. We do not build a profile of you or your household.
If you choose to contact us using the in-app Contact us, Give feedback, or Report issue forms, you will be submitting a message that is transmitted to and stored by Formspree (formspree.io), a third-party form processing service.
The information you submit - which may include your name, email address, and message content - is sent to Formspree to be delivered to our support inbox. This is the only circumstance in which any information leaves your device.
Formspree's handling of that data is governed by their own Privacy Policy, available at formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy. We retain support messages only for as long as necessary to respond to your enquiry.
You are never required to use support forms. All core app functionality works without submitting any form.
If crash reporting or diagnostic tools are included in a version of the app, they will be clearly disclosed here and will only capture technical crash data (such as device OS version and stack trace). They will never capture the content of your meal library or household data.
As of the effective date of this policy, no third-party crash reporting or analytics SDK is active in this app.
This app is intended for use by adults managing a household. It is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction).
We do not knowingly collect any information from children. Because the app is local-first and collects no personal data through normal use, there is no mechanism by which a child's data would be transmitted to us.
The app may contain links to external websites or services (for example, within the support or help sections). Once you leave the app and navigate to a third-party site, this Privacy Policy no longer applies. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any site you visit.
Because we do not collect or store your personal data in the ordinary course of app use, most data subject rights (such as access, rectification, or erasure) are exercised directly on your own device.
You can delete all app data at any time by uninstalling the app, which removes all locally stored information. You may also clear app data through your device's app settings.
If you submitted a support form and wish to request deletion of that message from our support inbox, please contact us via the in-app Contact us screen and we will action your request promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date shown at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
